A lot of Jaguar model from the 1980s onwards have their VIN information printed on a decal were it was previously a metal plate.  While these were easy for the factory to produce and apply they were not that durable and have often been lost over time or removed during a respray.  They were also printed on tamper proof material which mean any attempt to remove and reapply them are doomed.

 

I have a large variety of designs for replicating UK and US VIN plates, including the smaller ones applied in secondary locations in the US which were Jaguar's attempt to add a little more security against cloning vehicles.  All models from the XJ-S onwards can be produced.

 

These can be custom printed if you supply your VIN, paint and trim codes, and (if you have them) the load weightings.  

 

The cost is £55 for all design work and printing of a 2 copies of each decal.  I can provide more on request.
